Jake graduated from the University of Nebraska-Kearney in 2020, where he obtained his Degree of Science in Exercise Science. He went on to attend the University of Nebraska Medical Center, where he obtained his Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2023. He was born in Valentine, NE but spent most of his childhood through high school graduation in Ogallala. Growing up, he enjoyed playing sports such as baseball, football, basketball, and track and field. He also spent most of high school working as a lifeguard, where he also taught swimlessons to kids ages 2-7.
As a physical therapist, he believes in creating a personal relationship with each patient to help motivate and encourage them to achieve their goals and return them to their activities. Jake enjoys working with all conditions and age ranges, but has a special interest in athletes, knee and ankle injuries and youth rehab. Jake strives to continue his education pursuing knowledge in dry needling, BFR, TPI and wants to pursue either his OCS or SCS.
Outside of work, Jake enjoys spending time with his wife Taylor and his border collie Maverick. He enjoys spending time in the gym, playing racquetball, enjoying a round of golf, or anything that helps keep him active.
