Karen graduated from the University of Nebraska Medical Center with a degree in Physical Therapy in 1987 and earned a Master of Arts in Health Education from the University of Nebraska at Omaha in 1991.

In 2007, Karen opened a clinic for Midwest Physical Therapy in Ashland where she is the Clinic Manager. She enjoys working with patients in the community where she lives. Her experience is in acute care, geriatrics, ergonomics, and outpatient orthopedics/sports medicine.

Karen enjoys enjoys making jewelry and camping. She is a very active member of St. Mary’s Church and the local community of Ashland. Karen enjoys spending time with her husband, Kevin, and their three sons.
